Providing solar power to classrooms at the Ahmad Jahan Primary School offers sustainable electricity for the community. Connecting to the main power grid in Malawi is not only costly, but also often unreliable due to blackouts. By powering the learning spaces with solar energy students have bright, inviting spaces to learn and explore.
To power an entire school block costs approximately $1000. This donation is a general contribution to TPM and funds may be redirected from the above description as needs arise. 100% of all donations fund efforts on the campus in Malawi.
